Dear Bloggers,
I am setting up this blog to keep up with you during the summer. Check in now and then and let me know all the fun times you are having. Eventhough it is not summer yet, it is Memorial Weekend. I am going to a autograph and practice session for the L.A. Sparks, then down to Union Station for a backstage look at Disneys new movie, A Christmas Carol and I may check out the CIF Track Meet.
Fun Summer!

ReplyDeleteHi Mrs. Clagon! its me, Tyler! Im doing pretty well, except for the fact that the state test is coming up. i fail that, and i go to summer school. I go to summer school, I dont go to Arkansas. I dont go to Arkansas, and that ruins EVERYTHING! my granny would be so depressed, which really stinks because for some reason im overly sympathetic! anyways i made the blog but im having trouble communicating with others, so so far this has been the only way ive been able to contact you AWAY from school, so that might take a little bit to sort out. Keep me posted on school stuff and things that might help me get honor roll. Bye!

Hello Bloggers,
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to have a few weeks off! Today we started summer school and there are some pretty cool kids in my class! You may even know some of them. I spent most of my two weeks hanging out at home and watching my daughter compete in track meets. I have been to the Staples Center to watch the L.A. Sparks (Women's Basketball). I haven't gotten around to the beach yet, but soon I hope. A few of my "old" college buddies visited from Maryland a week ago. We had a good time remembering "old" times. Don't forget to check in and let me know how you are doing.

Zen!
ReplyDeleteCan you believe we are back in summer school! Well at least now you won't be too board. See you tomorrow.

WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO A GREAT SUMMER!!
If you know of any girls this age looking for something to do, it looks like fun.
It has been awhile since I have heard from any of my students. Just wondering what you have been up to? Someone took a trip to Arkansas, I'd like to hear about that. Someone else took a trip to Canada , I'd like to hear about that. Happy birthday to John who celebrated a few days ago at Knotts Berry Farm. Hope you had a great time. Thanks to Joell who brought donuts for the whole class during summer school. Yummy!!! Zen, the cantaloupe juice was delicious. I make fruit smoothies every morning. Zen, how was your trip to Mexico? I took a short trip to Carlsbad, CA. It was a beautiful ride, but it was awfully hot. Since summer school ended, I have stayed pretty close to home, working around the house and planning things for the new school yeaar. I saw some great sales in the newspaper for school supplies. I have done a little bit of scketching and working on some new art projects that I want to use in school. Enjoy the summer and I hope to hear from some bloggers soon.
ReplyDeleteHi Ms Clagon, I wanted to tell you about my summer vacation. On July 10, I left to Canada and came back on July 24. First, I went to North Bay and stayed at Trout Lake in a lake house for 4 days and even went fishing and caught two fish, a rock bass and a smallmouth. Next, I went to the African Lion Safari and drove in a huge gated area to drive right next to walking wild animals that each are free in their own area. We drove by Zebras, some Rhinos, ostriches, cheetas, lions and many more. One lion walked right in front of our car. A giraffe stretched its neck above from the front of the car to the backseat window and looked at me. I had lots of fun but the monkeys were the best part because they get to climb on our car one young monkey climbed on our car. We taped down the wind shield wipers because they rip everything loose off of your car. Most people laughed at us with tape on our car but then it was our turn to laugh when their windshield wipers and antennas got ripped off and chewed up. In the park you can walk, it is separate from the driving part. In the park we saw the elephant swim, and the elephant show were they carry logs with their tusks and do tricks. There were 5 elephants in the show and the youngest one was 3 years old. The elephants also paint t-shirts with a paintbrush. We also went to Niagara Falls and went on The Maid of the Mist which took us about 20 feet away from where the Horseshoe Falls were and we got really soaked!!! We went to Toronto and saw the CN Tower, the world's largest tower. There we looked though the glass floor and the other glass floor in the elevator when we went up and down. We took a double-decker sightseeing bus and passed by the Royal Ontario Museum, the Bata Shoe Museum, and Casa Loma Castle. We went to a baseball game in the Rogers Center, and the dome was open because it was a nice, beautiful day. It was the Toronto Blue Jays vs. the Boston Red Sox and the Blue Jays won 2 to 6. My summer was great!!!
